The Chroma Ensemble was constituted in 2010 and joins the experiences of talented musicians highly regarded all around Italy, that have performed an eclectic  concert and record activity, as composers WITH DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS  and  in  many styles of music: from traditional chamber music to symphonic-chamber and solo, to ethnical music , to jazz ; not to be forgotten their collaborations with corporations like the Massimo Theatre of Palermo, the Carlo Felice Theatre of Genoa, the “Luglio Musicale Trapanese”, the Lyric Ente of Cagliari and others.

The Ensemble starts out from the meeting of musicians that share the idea that the  string quartet , the most important  of chamber  formations, especially if enriched by the sound  of the piano and the piano accordion, is able to perform any musical program, giving back to the musical piece its original spirit and at the same time imparting  it  with the charm of its unique elegance.

The versatility and the outstanding figurative musicality of the members, allow the ensemble to perform the most various types of repertoire ,from the traditional chamber music , to the most recent melodies, from the classical famous tunes of all ages to the lyrical ones,  from jazz to the most famous   pop artist’s productions , in original version, or more often in refined transcriptions and arrangements. All these elements are combined  in a unique blend  giving life to a style which has its own personal  trait and is in fact the essence of the singularity of the Chroma Ensemble. Even though the Ensemble has only been recently constituted, it has already been invited to perform in various and important concert seasons. The impact of its musical performances has had positive echoes among  critic and public audiences.
